‘Sota Pop
When Super Bowl LII came to town, Explore Minnesota Tourism had to show winter travelers that Minnesota is more than cold; it’s cool. So, we created ’Sota Pop, an interactive pop-up experience showcasing all of Minnesota’s seasons and regions. With an Instagram-friendly design and the help of local artists, ’Sota Pop became the brightest and most shareable experience of the big game.
I had the opportunity to help create and hand-paint a fraction of the experience: the Red Wing wall. Showing off one of Minnesota’s most loved brands, we scaled up the famous wings logo and added touches such as the signature zig-zag design on the bottom of their boots for where your feet go, as well as side walls of a simple yet iconic MN state + a heart in the south pattern.
