Howdy

I’m a designer and illustrator who has called the ol’ Magnificent Midwest home for 5 years now. But as much as I try to adopt the “O you betchas” and “Uffdas”, having grown up in North Carolina and gone to SCAD in Georgia, y’all best believe ya won’t shake all the southern out of me. I pride myself in enjoying a wide range of work, from creating murals to difficult photo retouching (create a shoe that’s been completely covered by dirt? Sure!).

My knacks though are branding & typography. Outside of design, I am also passionate about running, baking & cake decorating, singing and music, and quality time with friends and their dogs. All of these activities might also include a glass of wine or cider (sorry beer).

As a long-standing athlete and avid runner, I thrive off of teamwork and the opportunity to continuously work towards a goal (or ten). I also strongly believe that great ideas come from life experiences – the stories that better people's lives are the ones we live and choose to share. Vulnerability and being connected are two qualities I have found valuable in all areas, especially at work. I am kind, disciplined, annoyingly detail-oriented, and am constantly looking for a challenge.

Hi! Thanks for visiting.

Who are you? My name is Annie and I am an art director, designer & illustrator based in Minneapolis. With a strong drawing + fine arts background, I went on to study Design + Illustration at SCAD. Now, I specialize in branding, packaging and illustration projects while constantly making little projects for myself and others in my free time.

Why? I’ve always been drawn to the story building within brand design and how different each brand personality can be. Most importantly, I value sound relationships with my clients and team. At the end of the day, being able to provide excitement + admiration through design for a client is why I love to do what I do.

I’m currently working at: Modern Climate.
